Mundane Meaning - Cattle - domesticated
Divinatory Meaning - Abundance, finances, hope and plenty, material goods, money, passion, possessions, success in life and social situations, wealth
Merkstave (reversed) - An offer not to be accepted, Atrophy, bondage, burnout, cowardice, discord, dullness, failure, greed, loss of esteem, mishandling a fortune or business, property or something you have put a lot of effort into obtaining, poverty, stupidity.
Magickal Uses - achieving a goal, business success, finding a job, money, promotion, starting new enterprises
Analysis - Fehu leads you to first think of the mundane possessions needed for day to day living, keeping in mind it is hard to concentrate on the spiritual aspects of life when there is hunger and lack in the mundane world.
But never be satisfied with just mundane life. The spiritual side of life must be sought to complete and round out our lives. Fehu gives us a glimpse of the possibilities of life on both the mundane and spiritual levels and gives us a base to move forward from.
