Mundane Meaning - Protection
Divinatory Meaning - Protection, a protective shield, the urge to ward off evil, defense, being on the defensive, feeling the need to protect the success already achieved in life.
Merkstave (reversed) - Danger hiding around the corner, loss of your connection to the divine, being in danger of being defeated, vulnerability, a warning.
Magickal Uses - Any works dealing with protection
Analysis - Elhaz is a turning point. Knowledge has been learned and now you must choose how to use that knowledge. It is your choice to either work within moral ethics or ignore what effect your workings have on others, just remember, a sword can be turned back on it's wielder.
